Range Description

This species is found in lowlands and adjacent premontane slopes on the Atlantic versant of Costa Rica and northwestern Panama (Lotzkat et al. 2010) and on the Pacific versant of southern Costa Rica (Savage 2002). Sunyer and Khler (2010) also reported it in the humid lowlands of Nicaragua. It occurs at elevations of 2 to 1,360 meters (Wilson et al. 2010).
