Range Description

This temperate species has a wide distribution in southeastern Australia, from the Granite Belt in southeastern Queensland, through New South Wales and Victoria, inland to the upper western slopes of the Great Dividing Range, and to the Eyre Peninsula and Spencer Gulf in southeastern South Australia. It is also found in north and east Tasmania, and on the Bass Strait Islands. This species is found between sea level and 1,600 m above sea level.
