Distribution: Bahamas, Hispaniola  Epicrates striatus striatus: Hispaniola; Île de la Gonâve; Isla Saona; intergrades with E. s. exagistus.
Type locality: Santo Domingo and St. Thomas; restricted by Sheplan and Schwartz, 1974, to the city of Santo Domingo, Distrito Nacional, República Dominicana.  Epicrates striatus ailurus (HOLOTYPE AMNH 77015): Bahama Is.: Alligator Cay and Cat I.  Epicrates striatus exagistus (HOLOTYPE MCZ 125603): Hispaniola: Haiti, distal portion of the Tiburon Peninsula, east to Les Basses, but presumably occurring further east.  Epicrates striatus fosteri (HOLOTYPE MCZ 46054): Bahama Is.: Bimini Is.  Epicrates striatus fowleri (HOLOTYPE MCZ 125605): Bahama Is.: Andros I., Berry Is.  Epicrates striatus mccraniei (HOLOTYPE UMMZ 118033): Bahama Is.: Ragged is.   Epicrates striatus strigilatus (SYNTYPES ANSP 10237, ANSP 10239): Bahama Is.: New Providence I. including Rose I., Eleuthera I., Long I., Exuma Cays, Andros (fide GARMN 1887)  Epicrates striatus warreni (HOLOTYPE MCZ 125604): Île de la Tortue
