Range Description

This poorly-known species is endemic to the Central Plateau of Mexico. The type specimen was recorded from the neighbourhood of Mexico City in 1868. Populations are currently known from southern Jalisco and adjacent Colima. The species may be more widespread than is currently known. It has been recorded between 1,800 and 2,600 m asl.
