Range Description

This species has a large neotropical distribution, from Costa Rica southward, spanning the north half of South America as far south as Bolivia and eastern Brazil (Espírito Santo State). It is also known from Trinidad. It occurs from sea level to 1,200 m above sea level (Barrio-Amorós et al. 2010).
