Range Description

This species occurs at low and moderate elevations along the Atlantic versant from southern Veracruz, Mexico, across the base of the Yucatan Peninsula, and through Belize, northern Guatemala, northern Honduras, and eastern Nicaragua to western Panama; it occurs also on the Pacific versant in Costa Rica. Elevational range extends from near sea level to about 1,860 meters (Wilson and Johnson 2010).
