Zaprionus badyi Burla, 1954 is an Afrotropical species of the drosophilid genus Zaprionus Coquillett, 1902. It belongs to the inermis species group. It has a yellow thorax and abdomen, and an anteriorly darkened wing, and lacks profemoral tubercles and spines and a median white stripe on the frons. It is known from Côte d'Ivoire, and was bred from fruits.
