Howell Curtis commented on "Calephelis muticum McAlpine 1937":
@Bob Corrigan: Bob, I have a special interest in Calephelis muticum as I found a new population In southern Indiana in 2009. It was in a state nature preserve and apparently the Dept. of Nature Preserves biologists had no idea it was there. Most interesting was that the habitat was a barrens bordering on a post oak savanna. No wetland of any kind around. I see you found the Bess article. A lot of good information there.

Bob Corrigan commented on "Calephelis muticum McAlpine 1937":
@Howell Curtis: Take a look at http://eol.org/data_objects/17746192 - curiously, I was able to get C. muticum to resolve as a species page, now everything resolves to C. mutica. Strange. Thanks for your continued feedback to make this brief intro as useful as possible - but also please feel free to add additional articles of your own, or another brief intro too. The more the merrier, especially from an expert like yourself.
