Range Description

This species is known only from Riama island (Indonesia), a small island off the west coast of the larger Pulau Selaru in the Tanimbar Island Group (Musser and Carleton, 2005). The distribution of this species is poorly known, and it seems likely that it may also be present on other islands in the Tanimbar Island Group, although this requires confirmation. The species has been recorded from sea level, and may occur up to a maximum of 200 m on Riama Island.
