General Description

A medium-size (3.3-4.0 cm wingspan) broad-winged moth with almost unmarked yellow-brown or pinkish-brown wings. The basal half of the pointed forewings are slightly darker than the terminal half, and are crossed by faint diffuse darker basal, antemedian and median bands A narrow dark line runs from beyond the middle of the lower margin straight to the apex. The only other markings are faint darker scaling along most of the veins. Normal spots obsolete or nearly so. The hind wings are dull brown. Male antennae bipectinate.
