“Genus Rhopalomenia Simroth, 1893



Rhopalomenia Simroth, 1893. Zeitschrift für wissereschaftliche Zoologie, 56 (2): 322. TYPE SPECIES: Proneomenia aglaopheniae Kowalevsky and Marion, 1887.



Mouth separated from the atrium. Without radula, but sheath may be present. With two pairs of foregut glandular organs: a pair of ducts with subepithelially arranged gland cells (type A) and a pair with epithelial glands (type C). Midgut with constrictions. Secondary genital opening unpaired. Without copulatory stylets. With dorsoterminal sense organ.”
