Description

An annual glabrescent herb with erect, branched, and angular stems. The leaves are 4-8(-10) cm, compound, with 5-12 pairs of 0.5-1.5 x 0.1-0.3 cm, short-petioliolate, narrowly-linear to oblong-lanceolate leaflets, with retuse-mucronate or obtuse apex. The peduncles are shorter than the subtending leaf. The flowers are with 1-1.2 cm, violet-blue corolla and are arranged in 1-4-flowered racemes. The fruit is a pod, 1.5-2.5 x 0.3-0.5 cm in size, oblong-linear, pubescent, 2-4-seeded and strongly constricted between the seeds. The seeds are small, subglobose, dark brown, and smooth.
