Brief Summary

This animal is found in North America in ecosystems that tend to have edges. The grey fox is canid that is especially unique within this family. Found within the Carnivora order, this animal exhibits a variety of dietary habits. Often times this animal will be found eating insects, fruits, small mammals, other small vertebrates, and occassionally carrion. This animal has the ability to climb trees, which is its trademark. This is the only canid in the world that can do so making this dog a peculiar one. Sexual dimorphism is small with the tendancy of males to be slightly larger than females. This is a monogamous species that has the males take care of young as well as females. This is an average sized Carnivore weighing about 10lbs. There is limited research on this animal, suggesting that this animal is elusive.
