I did not see the type of Karstens Stamnaria hyalopus. For the fact that all S. spp. proved congeneric to type species S. persoonii are inhabiting exclusively Equisetum spp., this seems to be most unlikely congeneric, since having grown on decaying leaves of Carex vesicaria.
Thus it most likely will have to be excluded from Stamnaria sp.
