Fairy Duster

Think of a feather duster and you can picture the fairy duster flower. The flower of the shrub is a pink-orange puff ball that can be up to 2 inches in diameter. They bloom all year round. The whole bush grows 8 to 48 inches tall. The leaves on the bush are compound leaves that are made up of 4 pairs of ¼ inch leaves. The fairy duster is a part of the pea family and eaten by many of the desert animals. The habitats in which the fairy duster is found are in sandy washes, slopes and mesas.
