Range Description

Juncus compressus has a predominantly Old World boreal distribution, from Scandinavia south to the Iberian Peninsula and east through Russia, the Caucasus, Pakistan and Mongolia to China, Japan and the Korean Peninsula. It has been introduced to Canada and the United States (The Board of Trustees of the Royal Botanic Garden Kew 2013).
