Similar to Natalensis, this cycad is now considered extinct in the wild. Only male specimen found. Grows up to 20ft in height with leaves 150-250 cm. Leaves have 70-150 leaflets. dioecious - male has yellow cylindrical strobili 20-40 cm in length. A plant may bear 6 -8 at once. Tree-like.
