Description

A greyish-woolly perennial herb with erect or ascending branched stems andlinear,
pinnatisect into minute leaves that often with imbricate lobes that are divided into obovate spinulose-denticulate lobules; it has radiate capitula arranged in compound corymbs; receptacle is obconical; paleae narrowly lanceolate; ray limb broader than long, 3-lobed,yellow; disc florets cylindrical, 5-lobed, slightly saccate at the base; achenes oblong-ovate, compressed, with 2 lateral ribs, glabrous, brownish, epappose.
