Capparis (Caper Shrubs) is a genus of shrub in the family Capparaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii. Flowers are visited by Brachygastra lecheguana, Frieseomelitta silvestrii, Trigona spinipes, and Mischocyttarus lanei. Individuals can grow to 5.8 m.
