Overview

Distribution

Records of this species occuring in Panama (Maluf, 1988) are probably erroneous. H.L. Clark (1948), mentioned collecting one specimen from Bahia Honda as well as one specimen from Gorgona Island, Colombia. However, Clark states that these may well be specimens of L. panamensis, a view supported by Zigler and Lessios (2004) and Lessios (2005).
