Carduus (Plumeless Thistle) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Sphaerophoria scripta, Bumble Bees, six-spot burnet, and Orange Sulphur. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
