Reynoutria japonica (Japanese Knotweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Asia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Eastern Yellowjacket, Common Eastern Bumblebee, and Northern Paper Wasp. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
