Regularity: Regularly occurring
Global Range: Coastal plain, Georgia to southern peninsular Florida, westward to Mississippi (Godfrey, 1981). Kartesz (1998) reports the range for this species as Georgia and Florida, and possibly North and South Carolina.
Comments: Pine savannas and flatwoods (Godfrey, 1981).

Reasons: Restricted to Florida and Georgia and also possibly occurring in South and North Carolina (Kartesz 1999, Weakley 2000). Frequent in Florida and the outer coastal plain of Georgia (Wunderlin 1998, Weakley 2000).
