Description
Annual, 10-40 cm tall, glabrous, branches few. Leaves glaucous green; lower and middle oval to oblong; veins 7-11; bases amplexicaul; apices obtuse, mucronate; upper leaves perfoliate, almost orbicular; veins numerous. Pedunc¬les 1-3 cm long. Involucral bracts lacking. Rays 5-10, 5-10 mm long. Involucel of 5-6 slightly connate, oval to ovate bractlets, tips acuminate to cuspidate, veins 5-9, prominent. Fruit oblong; ridges filiform.
