Regularity: Regularly occurring
Global Range: Coastal plain, southeast North Carolina to south Florida, westward to southeast Texas; Bah. Island.
Comments: Moist to wet sandy soil, usually somewhat boggy, pine savann as and flatwoods, adjacent ditches and roadsides.
