Symphonia globulifera is a species of tree in the family clusoids. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Tocantins, Acre (Brazil), Amazônia, Pernambuco, Piauí, ParaíBa, Roraima, Amapá, Pará, RondôNia, Alagoas, Bahia, Cerrado, and Maranhao. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 27 m.
