Shrub or tree to 10 m. Leaves 1-pinnate; leaflets in 3-5 pairs, subsessile, elliptic-oblong, tomentose when young, pubescent when mature; apex obtuse; margin crenate, crenate-serrate or entire; base rounded to ± cordate. Inflorescence c.2 cm in diameter, a congested subspherical thyrse. Sepals 2-2.5 mm. Petals 0. Fruit up to 3 × 2 cm, orange or yellow, obovoid-ellipsoid to spherical, tomentose.
