Minquartia guianensis (Black Manwood) is a species of tree in the family Olacaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to Maranhao, The Neotropics, Mato Grosso, Pará, Amazônia, Amapá, Roraima, RondôNia, Cerrado, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Individuals can grow to 25 m.
