Range Description

This species has been described from Santa Cruz: Chiquitos, and Cochabamba: Cordillera Mosetenes [Laguna Carachupa], both places located in Bolivia(Martnez and Halffter 1986). Although only these two localities have been listed, this species is believed to be widespread in Bolivia (T. Larsen pers. comm. 2013), it has been found in Santa Cruz and Cochabamba.Based on available occurrence data, the extent of occurrence is estimated in excess of 120,000 km2, with an area of occupancy of between 500 and 1,100 km2.
