Description
A herbaceous, viscid, glandular-hairy, yellowish-green perennial, often cushion-like with much-branched stems, erect or ascending, angular, densely glandular-hairy, with setiform hairs. Basal leaves are oblong-lanceolate with undulate margin, acute apex and long-attenuate base, while cauline leaves are oblong-elliptic, sessile with slightly undulate margin and acute apex, on the other hand the uppermost leaves are clasping. Inflorescence is terminal, simple or forked carrying bracteate, pedicellate flowers and ovate, sessile, acute, bracts that are subcordate at the base. Corolla is yellow with glabrous outside. Fruit is an ovoid nutlet, with a strongly curved beak.
