Description

Shrubs or small trees with milky latex. Tendrils 0. Stipules 0. Leaves opposite. Inflorescence of few- or several-flowered terminal cymes. Corolla lobes hairy, overlapping to the right. Stamens 5, sessile. Disk present. Fruit of 2 follicles. Seeds with an apical coma, not rostrate.

Mascarenhasia

Mascarenhasia is a genus of plant in family Apocynaceae first described as a genus in 1844. It is native to Africa and a few islands in the Indian Ocean. Several species are endemic to Madagascar.[1]
