Range Description

This species is endemic to the Mexican State of Chiapas between 1,800 and 2,500 m asl (Hunt et al. 2006). According to Hunt et al. (2006) it has a very restricted distribution and is only known from the type locality. Hernndez and Godnez (1994) state the species is known from two to five localities. According to S. Arias (pers. comm. 2009) it is known from three localities.
