Range Description

Pseudorhipsalis amazonica is widely distributed. It occurs in semi-arid environments in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela (Albesiano and Fernández-Alonso 2006, Hunt et al. 2006). In Costa Rica it occurs at elevations from sea level to 900 m, while it may be found as high as 1,500 m in other range countries.
