Range Description

Pereskia lychnidiflora is distributed in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama and Nicaragua (Hunt et al. 2006). In Mexico this species is distributed in Oaxaca in the regions of Tehuantepec, Salina Cruz, Ixtepec, La Ventosa, Tequisistlán and Juchitán, and Bahías de Huatulco. The species also occurs in Guerrero. It grows at elevations from sea level to 1,200 m asl.
