Range DescriptionSpecies endemic to Mexico, is widely distributed in the southern half of Chihuahuan Desert within Coahuila, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Nuevo LeÃ³n, QuerÃ©taro, San Luis PotosÃ, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas. It is also distributed in the southern TehuacÃ¡n Valley in Puebla and Oaxaca, where it is relatively common (GÃ³mez-Hinostrosa and HernÃ¡ndez 2000; HernÃ¡ndez et al. 2004). The north and southern populations are geographically isolated by the Transverse Neovolcanic Axis (Trujillo 1984). It is known from 240 localities (HernÃ¡ndez et al. 2010). It is found from 1,100 to 2,400 m.
