Range Description

This species is endemic to Mexico, where it is distributed in the states of Guanajuato and Querétaro (Hernández et al. 2004) and into San Luis Potosí (Pilbeam 1999). It occurs at elevations of 750 to 2,200 m asl (Pilbeam 1999). It is very likely for the species to be found in Hidalgo (E. Sánchez pers. comm. 2011).
