Range Description

Escobaria cubensis is endemic to Cuba and is found northeast of Holguín in Holguín province (Anderson 2001). It is found at four locations (Gonzalez-Torres 2007) and occurs at elevations up to 280 m asl. The extent of occurrence is estimated to be around 900 km2 (estimated from polygon map and using the scale bar as reference).
