Description

Fibigia clypeata is a perennial, densely tomentose-canescent herb that reaches up to 15-40 cm, with a woody at the base. Stems are simple or branched, and erect. Basal leaves are petiolate, spathulate to obovate, with entire or obscurely dentate margins; while cauline leaves are sessile. Flowers are yellow and arranged in dense racemes. The fruit is an elliptic- oblong silicula with flattened, winged seeds arranged in 2 rows.
