Taxonomic Remarks

Three specimens represent this species, one from Japan, which is completely dried, and two from the type locality, which were still inside gastropod shells and consequently not really examined by Selenka (From Cutler and Cutler, 1985). These authors removed one of the specimens from the gastropod shell and briefly redescribed it in the revision of the genus.
