Taxonomic Remarks

Phascolion abnorme is an uncommon species, not well founded (Cutler and Cutler, 1985). These authors described the holotype to be in poor condition and point out that the records from Gulf of Aden and Red Sea (Murina, 1970, 1971) are questionable. They retained the species with reservation.
