Description

A densely grey-canescent annual with branched, leafy, ascending stems that arise from the base. Leaves are oblong in outline, with 4–6 oblong-elliptic, entire, subacute lobes; uppermost leaves are smaller, undivided and oblong-linear. Capitulum is discoid, subglobose with ebracteate peduncle and conical and epalcate receptacle. Florets are yellow, 4-lobed. Fruit is an oblong-oblanceolate, sparsely glandular-punctate, striate achene with no pappus.
