Description

Solitary zooids: MVI fused dorsally into one, extending longitudinally to MII. Five pairs of light organs between MI and MVI. Dorsal tubercle moderately convoluted, somewhat less so than in Cyclosalpa pinnata.

Aggregate zooids: Body muscles symmetrically arranged; MI to MII and MIII to MIV fused in the mid-dorsalline. Total number of muscular fibers: 55-101. One pair of light organs between MII and MIII. Dorsal tubercle W-shaped.
