Solitary zooids: MVI fused dorsally into one, extending longitudinally to MII. Five pairs of light organs between MI and MVI. Dorsal tubercle moderately convoluted, somewhat less so than in Cyclosalpa pinnata.Aggregate zooids: Body muscles symmetrically arranged; MI to MII and MIII to MIV fused in the mid-dorsalline. Total number of muscular fibers: 55-101. One pair of light organs between MII and MIII. Dorsal tubercle W-shaped.
