Range Description

Chondrina calpica calpica is distributed in someprovinces of Andalusia (south of the Iberian Peninsula) and in the north of Morocco. In Andalusia, its presence has only been confirmed in the western end of Granada, Mlaga and Cdiz (Arrbola and Gmez 1998; unpublished data). The records of this subspecies in Jan (Gittenberger 1973) belong to Chondrina granatensis(Arrbola and Gmez 1998).
Chondrina calpica altenai is only known from the surroundings of Ceuta, in North Africa (Gittenberger 1973).
