Range Description

This species was known only from the type location of Lord Howe Island, New South Wales in Australia (Reid et al. 2005). The depth range of this species is not known (Reid et al. 2005). Numerous beachwashed cuttlebones (the largest 90 mm long) were found by A. Reid in December 2009. Entire animals are yet to be collected. Local knowledge suggests that this species may be active at night over seagrass beds (A. Reid, pers. comm.).
