Range Description

This species has been reported from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. In Ireland, it has been reported that Candidula gigaxii was known at four Irish sites in Cos. Kildare and Roscommon discovered in the nineteen -thirties but the species has not been seen since (Byrne et al. 2009).
