Range Description

This species is distributed in the southwestern United States in Arizona. It has been reported from the literature to occur in the Mexican states of Baja California (Powell and Weedin 2004), Chihuahua, Coahuila and Sonora, and in the United States in Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas (Hernndez et al. 2004). It grows at elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,800 m asl (Scobell and Scott 2002).
