Pentagramma triangularis
Pentagramma triangularis is a fern, commonly known as goldback fern, native to Western North America, including California. It is commonly found in mixed evergreen and oak forests, occasionally on dry brushy slopes, and prefers shaded areas[1]

Comments: Kartesz' 1994 checklist spelled the genus name "Pentagrama", but he corrected the spelling to "Pentagramma" in his August 1997 draft dataset, which agrees with the spelling in various other sources (Hickman, 1993; Flora of North America, 1993).
