Range Description

Strugia ohridana is restricted to a large cave-spring, from which the Sum brook originates, south of Zagracani, about 4 km from Struga town, in the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)(Radoman 1983). The range is difficult to estimate, as this species lives in subterranean groundwaters, potentially occupying the whole subterranean system, which is inferred to be less than 100 km².
