Range Description

Bythiospeum clessini is endemic to Germany, where it was described from 'Schnthal Wrttembergiae in alluviis Jagst fluminis' (Falkner and Niederhof 2008). There are two subspecies currently recognised. One from Schontal (Jagstgenist) and the other from Backnang (Maubach) in Germany (Falkner and Niederhfer 2008).
