Kigelia africana (Sausage Tree) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Afrotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by greater short-nosed fruit bat, Lesser Long-nosed Bat, and Leschenault's Rousette. Individuals can grow to 22 m.
